The airport's main information desk is situated in the Main Concourse on Level 03 while smaller counters are also available on level 04 in both the arrivals and departures areas. Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets


Duty free and duty paid outlets can be found in both terminals beyond security while on the public side, the bulk of shops can be found in what's known as the common area. Shops include retailers of food, electronics, clothing and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics, jewellery and leatherware.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants


There's a huge selection of outlets serving food and beverages at the airport with everything from fast-food outlets to traditional Bavarian bars and eateries. There are popular franchises such as Burger King and Mangostin as well as a number of generic, airport operated snack bars. A huge range of bars are available reflecting the country's love of beer-drinking.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities


There are a number of banks, ATMs and bureaux de change in both terminals. A post office is also available in the public area.

Business and Conference Facilities


Photocopy and fax machines are available in the central area and Terminal 2 arrival area, while for those requiring more comprehensive facilities, the Munich Airport Centre (MAC) offers a full range of conference and business services. Conferences can be held in the MAC Forum while the MAC business service centre is the place to head for pc stations, Internet access, telephones, facsimiles etc. The Atlantik Lounge also offers some business facilities.

Disabled Facilities


Munich International Airport (MUC) offers wheelchair access throughout all the public areas and disabled-friendly toilets also. Both the airport medical centre and Level 3 of the main concourse offer TDD telephones. Special assistance is available from individual airlines and passengers with special needs are advised to call and inform their airline before arriving at the airport. Dedicated disabled parking spaces are also available.
